Our Mask Varieties

Following are the different types of fabric masks we have in stock along with a little information about each.

Goblins

The goblin masks were part of the original mask project designed by Steve Johnson for our What Lurks Beneath plotline. They are green, have pointed ears, protruding chins, and have various configurations of teeth and tongues. There are a total of 24 of them available and they work best with our set of reversible green/brown tunics.

Trolls

The troll masks were also part of the original mask project designed by Steve Johnson for our What Lurks Beneath plotline. They are brown, have pointed ears, bulbous noses and foreheads, and have various configurations of teeth and tongues. There are a total of 26 of them available and they work best with our set of reversible green/brown tunics.

Kobolds

These revised kobold masks were made by Lani Grayson to fit our vision for our Echoes of Ragnarok plotline. They are mustard-yellow, have latex bear noses, floppy yellow years, and various configurations of tufts of hair on their faces and heads. There are a total of 18 of them available.

Imps

The imp masks were made by Lani Grayson to give us a grunt combat NPC for the demonic wrap up of our What Lurks Beneath plotline. They are a dark maroon, and have long pointed ears and noses. There are a total of 18 of them available.

Demons

The demon masks were made by Steve Johnson to give us a more fearsome combat/boss NPC in the What Lurks Beneath plotline. They are red, have pointed ears, large tusk-like teeth, protruding chins, and various configurations of horns that make each unique. There are a total of 6 of them available.

Illithids

The illithid masks were made by Steve Johnson before we actually knew what we were going to do with them. We ended up finding a major role for them at our fourth What Lurks Beneath event. They are green with red-and-green tentacles around the face, and a white "beak" over the mouth. There are a total of 4 of them available.

Skeletons

The skeleton masks were made by Jason Rosa to add rooms of undead to the second What Lurks Beneath event. They are white with a latex skeleton face sewn into the front. There is also a bin of white sweatshirts and gloves that we can loan out with these. There are a total of 18 of them available.

Zombies

These zombie masks were made by Lani Grayson for the "Harry Potter" plotline where they were featured as "inferi". They are a pale tan and have latex teeth sewn into their mouths as well as sprigs of hair in various locations and red "wounds" here and there. There are a total of 12 of them available.

Spiders

These spider masks were made by Lani Grayson for the "Harry Potter" plotline's second event where they were the main enemy of nighttime dungeon. They are black with white mandables and have additional spider eyes on the forehead. These masks have a battery pack with red LEDs built into them for the extra eyes to make them especially amazing to use when it is dark. We are unable to loan out these spider masks at this time but we will be happy to show you how to make a set of your own!

Big Spider

This spider mask, along with an accompanying multi-limb tunic, was made by Steve Johnson for a side quest run at the first What Lurks Beneath event. It is black with large white eyes and mandibles. There is only one of these masks and costumes currently, so it makes sense to use it as a boss monster or some other kind of unique threat.

Ninja

Although these were not the first masks to be made, they were the inspiration for the balaclava fabric mask design. Steve Johnson made the original set of them with more added later on by Lani Grayson. They are black and feature a ninja-style eye slit. There are removable red headbands that can be used to make some ninja "special". There are 24 of them available.
